About Bob
Bob Kaufman is an Executive Director, Wealth Advisor and Portfolio Manager at J.P. Morgan Wealth Management.
Bob serves a diverse client base that includes high-net-worth individuals and their families, registered investment advisors, family offices and corporations. After beginning his career in the fixed income markets, Bob broadened his focus to guide clients by providing advice across a wide range of investment disciplines. By leveraging the full breadth of the firm’s resources, he delivers tailored strategies, thoughtful guidance and responsive, attentive service—the foundation of the longterm relationships he builds with clients. Drawing on this experience, Bob assists families with the intricacies of multi-generational wealth transfer.
With more than 40 years of financial services experience, Bob began his career at Chase Manhattan Bank—now J.P. Morgan—in 1985. He went on to deepen his knowledge through roles supporting savings and loans, credit unions and registered investment advisors. Bob joined HYM Financial, Inc. in 1987 and Gibraltar Securities Co. in 1994, which was later sold to Tucker Anthony Incorporated and then Royal Bank of Canada (RBC Dain Rauscher Inc.). He joined J.P. Morgan in 2005 through Bear Stearns, a predecessor firm.
A graduate of Boston University, Bob earned a B.S. in Business Administration with a major in Finance. He grew up in Livingston, New Jersey, where he continues to reside with his wife. He has two grown children along with 3 grandchildren that he adores! An avid runner, cyclist and swimmer, Bob also plays the saxophone in a local band. He volunteers with the Valerie Fund, a charity that treats children with cancer and blood disorders.
