About Todd

R. Todd Perkins is an Executive Director and Wealth Advisor at J.P. Morgan Wealth Management.

As a founding member of KTB Partners, Todd oversees wealth management practices serving C-suite executives, high-net-worth individuals and their families. He crafts customized strategies through a comprehensive process, managing both sides of the balance sheet—assets as well as liabilities—to design complex wealth plans for their sophisticated goals.

Todd prides himself on delivering a true client experience, incorporating each family’s most trusted advisors to present scenarios that help them grow, preserve and transition their wealth. He confers on each client his personal values of loyalty, effort and commitment, deeming these characteristics to be key differentiators in his multi-generational client relationships. Their longstanding nature is a further testament to the quality of service he bestows.

Todd’s 25-plus-year career began at Merrill Lynch in its Professional Development Program, prior to spending a few short years at UBS Wealth Management. He spent over a decade in Morgan Stanley’s wealth management group before joining J.P. Morgan in 2022. His background is steeped in wealth planning across both sides of the balance sheet—assets as well as liabilities— to help address the impacts of concentrated assets and other sophisticated challenges faced by senior executives and family offices.

A graduate of Mount Saint Mary’s College, Todd earned a B.S. in Finance with a concentration in Economics. He obtained the Certified Investment Manager Analyst® (CIMA®) designation through a sponsorship with The University of Pennsylvania Wharton School of Business and is a member of The Investment and Wealth Institute. Todd is also a member of the Econokic Club of NY. He also holds the Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®) designation, demonstrating a fundamental understanding of fiduciary principles and standards of conduct, along with a structured process for carrying out fiduciary responsibility when advising on investor assets. Designees gain specialized skills to evaluate and oversee fiduciary practices for vehicles like 401(k)s, defined benefit plans, endowments, and foundations, and to clearly communicate a commitment to fiduciary excellence.

Todd lives in Monmouth Beach, New Jersey, and spends his free time golfing and skiing with his son, Drew.
