About Stephen
Stephen O'Reilly, CFA, is an Executive Director and a Wealth Advisor with J.P. Morgan Wealth Management.
He and his team of investment professionals create and manage a variety of investment portfolio strategies for a wide range of investors, from wealthy individuals and business owners to institutions, corporate pension funds and labor unions.
Stephen is among a select group at advisors at J.P. Morgan who are qualified to manage discretionary client portfolios. He also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation (CFA), one of the most respected credentials in Finance. Stephen offers a balanced and consistent approach to servicing his clients and takes the time to learn the issues that resonate with them. He applies a resolute dedication to every decision and interaction, striving to maintain the highest level of integrity and personalized service.
Stephen graduated from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia. He began his career as a Financial Advisor at Shearson Lehman in 1984, and was a Director and Portfolio Manager at Oppenheimer & Co. for 10 years. Stephen joined Legg Mason in 1998 and then Bear Stearns in 2005, the latter acquired by J.P. Morgan in 2008.
Stephen's active community involvement reflects his leadership skills. He is President of the North Shore Pops Concert Band of Long Island, where he performs as First Clarinet. Stephen also serves as the Regatta Chairman at the Huntington Yacht Club, where he is Program Director for the HYC Junior Sailing Team, which promotes sailing and racing training for local youths. He and his wife, Vivian, enjoy sailing and racing their boat in the Huntington area, where they raised two wonderful children.
