About Warren

Warren Raum is an Executive Director and Wealth Advisor at J.P. Morgan Wealth Management.

Warren combines more than 40 years of industry experience with his designation as a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional to create and manage financial plans and investment portfolios for high-net-worth individuals and institutions.

Propelled by an interest in financial services that began during his collegiate years, Warren headed to Wall Street after graduation, spending 30 years at UBS Financial Services as a Senior Vice President, Investments. He transitioned to J.P. Morgan in 2010, attracted by the firm's reputation, leading-edge resources and commitment to outstanding client service.

A graduate of San Diego State University, Warren earned a B.S. in Finance and Real Estate and was a member of the lacrosse team. He holds an M.B.A. from Auburn University.

Acting as a conglomerator of research, strategies and products across Wall Street, Warren assimilates and orchestrates wealth management and financial planning strategies from multiple resources. This may include top-performing J.P. Morgan strategies and products as well as those filtered and curated by the firm.

With extensive exposure to various economic environments and markets over his years in the business, Warren has adapted an investment style that he methodically developed over multiple market cycles and various market conditions. Seeking to generate positive risk-adjusted returns that capitalize on both volatile and calm markets, Warren builds diversified portfolios through asset allocation and defensive positioning to help preserve capital and reduce ultimate downside exposure.

Warren's distinctive approach employs fundamental, technical and behavioral analysis across multiple asset classes and vehicles to identify pockets of value and opportunity. By leveraging J.P. Morgan's renowned research,1 due diligence and array of services, he delivers tailored strategies and customized hedge fund alternative investment scenarios to help clients pursue their investment and wealth planning objectives. Warren also coordinates and partners with various segments of the firm to delegate and access resources to address specific client needs.

Warren's commitment to sharing his knowledge extends beyond his role as a wealth advisor. He has also served as an adjunct professor at New York University, teaching investments and financial planning. Additionally, he does consulting for professional services firms and businesses, focusing on business development, knowledge management and strategic planning.

Warren and his wife, Lia, primarily spend their time in Greenwich, Connecticut, New York City and Eastern Long Island. They have two adult daughters. In his free time, Warren indulges in landscaping projects, reading history and political philosophy and cheering for the Auburn Tigers.
