About Catherine
Kit Jackson is a Managing Director and Wealth Partner at J.P. Morgan Wealth Management.
Kit joined J.P. Morgan Wealth Management in 2023 after 25 years at First Republic Investment Management, where she gained a distinguished reputation as a trusted advisor and thoughtful and seasoned investment manager. While at First Republic, she served in four successive roles, first as Equity Analyst, then Director of Equity Research, and finally as Portfolio Manager and Wealth Manager. Prior to First Republic, she served as both an Equity Analyst and Portfolio Manager for Ontario International, Lepercq de Neuflize & Co.'s offshore international fund, a high-conviction portfolio invested in 15-20 stocks. Her career began at Dean Witter Reynolds Equity Research Department where she focused on ADR (American depositary receipt) research.
Drawing on her background in equity research, analysis and management, Kit works to provide all clients, whether they be individuals, families, endowments or foundations, customized strategies to meet their financial goals. Kit takes the time to develop one-on-one relationships with each client, learning their preferences, experience, and personal and financial objectives, both short-term and long-term, to develop tailored portfolios across asset classes, both public and private.
Kit takes great pride in her team, its notable reputation for responsiveness, and its solution-oriented mindset.
A graduate of Tufts University, Kit earned a B.A. in History and Political Science. She received an M.B.A. from Georgetown University. She is a Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®) Charterholder.
Active in the community, Kit recently served on the New York Historical Society's Women's History Corporate Council. She is past President of the Board of Trustees of Garrison Forest School in Owings Mills, Maryland, and currently serves on the School's Executive, Finance and Investment Committees. She is a long-time, avid fan of the game of tennis and more recently has become a student of golf.
