About Matthew
Matthew D. Wasp is an Investment Associate at J.P. Morgan Wealth Management.
As a member of Gilman Private Wealth, Matthew helps provide tailored investment and wealth management services to ultra-high-net-worth clients. His primary focus is on portfolio management and relationship development.
Matthew couples his experience in private wealth management with the knowledge he obtained from his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® certification to bring valuable insight to the development of investment strategies. Through the group's Wealth Foundation Academy, he strategizes with clients to help them achieve and maintain financial wellness.
A graduate of Salve Regina University where he was also a member of the Men's Lacrosse team, Matthew obtained a B.S. in Financial Management with a minor in Economics. He holds FINRA Series 7 and 66 securities licenses. After beginning his career with another private wealth management group, he joined J.P. Morgan in September of 2024.
Matthew grew up on Long Island and now resides in Midtown West. He enjoys an active lifestyle, golfing and traveling. He also loves to spend time with family and friends.
