About Michael

Michael Roberto is a Portfolio Manager and Wealth Advisor with J.P. Morgan Wealth Management.

As a founding member of LBR Partners, Michael serves institutions and family offices, with a particular focus on the personal investment management needs of NFL/ NCAA coaches. He leverages the institutional-caliber tools, platform and advice of J.P. Morgan to develop strategies that can address the challenges his clients face. His key strengths include investment research, alternative investments and asset management.

Michael is an advisor in the J.P. Morgan Wealth Management Portfolio Manager Program, a select group of advisors who undergo a screening process to manage discretionary client assets, and are subject to ongoing quantitative and qualitative reviews to assess each advisor's investment strategy.

With a decade-plus career that began as an institutional broker at Knight Capital Group, Michael migrated to working in equities and structured products. Before joining J.P. Morgan, he was at Bank of America/ Merrill Lynch. He graduated from the University of New Hampshire, where he played Division 1 Football.

Michael lives in Rumson, New Jersey, with his wife, Jessica, and three children, Brady, Ella and Rory. He is committed to his community, evidenced by his tenure as President of the RFH Touchdown Club, serving as a board member of the Jay Dooley Memorial Foundation, and membership on the St. Jude Children's Hospital Wall Street Committee. In his spare time, Michael surfs, skis and plays tennis.
