About Jennifer
Jennifer Mayer is an Executive Director and Wealth Advisor at J.P. Morgan Wealth Management.
As a multi-generational member of Maybach Partners, she brings clients institutional-caliber advisory guidance with a macro perspective—both that influence the structure of their portfolios.
In her role, Jen draws upon her extensive knowledge of capital markets, fixed-income markets, alternative investments, interest-rate derivatives, repurchase agreements, strategic financing and other specialized strategies. Given her experience with institutional investors, she is able to provide investment opportunities not commonly available or utilized by high-net-worth individuals.
Skilled in making sense of the markets and corporate balance sheets, Jen runs the group's fixed income portfolios and is actively involved in managing equity portfolios. She also advises foundations and other non-profit organizations in many areas, including the development of appropriate investment strategies.
Jen is proud to have cultivated strong, trusted relationships with clients, complementing her warm and personal style with an analytical orientation. Mindful that clients are strapped for time, she presents fact-based explanations in clear, concise manner. Jen also has a special affinity for serving the "next generation" of client families, often sharing mutual interests and experiences that make conversations comfortable, rather than a formality.
In 2020, Jen joined J.P. Morgan to support the emerging initiatives of Maybach Partners. Prior to that, she spent four years at HSBC Securities in its institutional sales and trading group.
A lifetime learner, Jen holds the Certified Private Wealth Advisor (CPWA®) designation, a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan, and a place in her heart for serving others. While at UM, she was involved in the Relay for Life committee, a community focused organization that raises funds for the American Cancer Society. Today, she continues to support cancer and other medical research, as well as Broadway Cares/ Equity Fights AIDS and Rosie's Theater Kids. A current resident of Manhattan, Jen enjoys painting, skiing, travel, Broadway, exploring local restaurants, and being a "loud and proud" University of Michigan football and basketball fan.
