About Raymond

Raymond Hayes is an Executive Director and Wealth Advisor with J.P. Morgan Wealth Management.
With over 40 years of capital markets experience, Ray works closely with affluent individuals, real estate families, hedge fund principals and other financial professionals who seek growth and high-quality, predictable income flows to help manage their significant holdings. His focus is on helping to protect their hard-earned wealth, and he employs sophisticated strategies in pursuit of this goal.
Over the course of Ray's career, he has navigated multiple market cycles, and his experience spans brokerage firms and private banks. He began at Fidelity Funds in 1981 and spent 25 years in senior leadership roles with RBC, through the mergers and acquisitions that led to the present firm. Most recently, Ray spent a decade with Wells Fargo Private Bank, where he developed his income flow strategy. His strengths include portfolio management, due diligence and a deep commitment to the needs of each and every client.
Ray earned a B.A. in Accounting from St. John's University, an educational foundation that spurred his interest in investment management. He considers this calling to be a labor of love and pores over the Wall Street Journal to remain well-versed in all aspects of the markets.
A resident of Garden City, Ray and his wife raised their four children in the area. He is a big sports fan when you can peel him away from the pages of a good book.
