Chad Cohen is an Executive Director and Wealth Advisor at J.P. Morgan Wealth Management.
Chad is a partner of Schulman Wealth Management Group, helping wealthy individuals and families pursue their wealth goals through comprehensive planning and risk-based investment strategies. He works with investment bankers, private equity professionals, doctors, lawyers, business owners and C-suite executives with complex compensation structures to guide them in making informed. financial decisions.
As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional, the backbone of Chad’s approach is centered around building a long-term path forward. He takes a hard look at a client’s financial position through the lens of their objectives and goals, then models various plan iterations to pursue the financial future they envision. Whether a client is looking to save for their children’s college education, buy a new home, start a business or prepare for retirement, Chad works to optimize and integrate all the pieces of their financial lives into one cohesive strategy. He enjoys the challenge of managing risk and has a talent for taking sophisticated financial and market scenarios and making them easy for clients to understand.
Chad transitioned to J.P. Morgan in 2023 after spending five years as a Wealth Manager at First Republic Bank. He previously was an Associate Vice President at Wells Fargo Advisors. Chad launched his financial services career in 2014 at Credit Suisse after segueing from six years working in casualty insurance specializing in entertainment risk. He holds an M.B.A. from Cornell University’s Johnson School of Management and a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Rhode Island.
A New Jersey native, Chad and his wife, Tara, live with their two children in Livingston. He’s active with the UJA Federation of Greater Metro West NJ and enjoys playing golf, skiing, wine and traveling.
