About Jay

Jay Canell is a Managing Director and Wealth Partner with J.P. Morgan Wealth Management.

Jay's career in financial services spans more than 30 years, and during that time, he has gained a reputation for always placing the client first when making investment decisions. He is experienced across the range of equity and fixed income products, with areas of focus that include portfolio diversification, mutual fund analysis, financial planning and insurance strategies. Recognizing that many clients seek valuable access to credit and lending, he facilitates mortgages, debt refinancing, HELOCs and other forms of liquidity.

Morgan's industry-leading resources to help clients pursue their individualized financial goals. Previously, he was a Managing Director and Chairman's Council member at Morgan Stanley.

In 1989, Jay received his B.A. in International Relations from Lehigh University. He is FINRA Series 7, 31 and 63 securities registered. Jay resides in Scarsdale, NY and Manhattan with his wife, Sari, and their two children, Hayley and Dylan.
