About Jason

Jason L. Babb is a Managing Director and Wealth Partner at J.P. Morgan Wealth Management, responsible for managing $2 billion of the team's $5 billion in assets.

He has earned his stripes in wealth management and the military—serving ultra-high-net-worth families and his country with integrity, candor and consideration.

Jason's mission is to help clients move smoothly from one financial or life transition to another. He prides himself on delivering forward-looking guidance that allows clients sufficient time to make important decisions. As a seasoned advisor, Jason believes in abiding by his own set of principles and guidelines:

  • Be straightforward, even when honest suggestions may be difficult for a client to hear.
  • Recognize that what we do is more important than what we say we do.
  • Communicate clearly and in a timely manner.
  • Address each client's less obvious concerns, not only their questions.
  • Be respectful, responsive and admit any mistakes. "Clients fascinate me—especially their tales of struggle and success. It feels good to offer solutions they never considered for issues that weigh on their minds."

In 2023, Jason joined J.P. Morgan from First Republic, where he spent 12 years as a Senior Managing Director and Wealth Manager. Previously, he spent 10 years as a Senior Investment Adviser at Deutsche Bank in New York, managing $1.1 billion in private client assets. In addition to his investment management responsibilities, Jason was a member of Deutsche Bank's Investment Advisory and Trust Investment Committees.

Jason holds the Chartered Financial Analyst®(CFA®) designation and is a member of the New York Society of Security Analysts and the CFA Institute. He also holds a place in his heart for serving the greater good. Jason is a former mentor of students and spent four years in The U.S. Marine Corps, where he achieved the rank of Sergeant (meritoriously). He is a member of The Marines Memorial Club of San Francisco and a former mentor of students.

Jason graduated cum laude with a B.S. in Finance from Ramapo College of New Jersey. He also completed the Wharton Executive Development Program. Raised in Texas, Jason makes his home in Montvale, NJ, with his wife, Kristin, and their three teenagers.
