About Jennifer

Jennifer Mackley is a Vice President and Investment Associate at J.P. Morgan Wealth Management.

Before joining the firm in 2023, she spent nine years with the team at First Republic. Prior to that, she worked for AllianceBernstein in London and New York for 10 years.

As chair of the group's investment committee, Jennifer plays an integral role in managing clients' portfolios—making macro and micro decisions and recommendations, implementing trades, rebalancing portfolios, and explaining to clients their strategy, allocations and risks.

Jennifer serves as a primary relationship manager for many of the team's clients, focusing efforts toward the client's goals, implementing investment strategies and coordinating investment-related requests.

For Jennifer, the opportunity to be a caretaker of clients' life savings is something she welcomes and takes quite seriously. In each relationship, she makes it a point to engage both spouses in conversations surrounding their goals and concerns—which are often different.

Jennifer moved to the U.S. in 2009, while working for AllianceBernstein in London as an institutional asset manager. Continuing with the firm in New York, she shifted her focus to serving private clients in what she found was a more purposeful role.

Jennifer makes her home in Glen Ridge, New Jersey, with her husband, their two young children, and two cats. In addition to participating in her kids' school activities, Jennifer donates her time and energy to the local Friends of the Library and the American Friends of Belvoir Castle, another non-profit organization.
