About Alexander

Alexander Christon is an Executive Director and Wealth Partner with J.P. Morgan Wealth Management.

As a founder of The GGC group, he partners closely with clients to help them pursue their important goals.

Alex blends a big-picture approach with attention to the fine details of each relationship to add value across the financial picture. Organized and process-driven, he delivers strong capabilities in investment management, asset allocation analysis, fixed income, equity research and trade execution. Alex sees his role as that of a CFO, helping clients navigate the uncertainty of financial choices. He is known for his hardworking nature and commitment to do the right thing for each client.

As a member of the J.P. Morgan Wealth Management Portfolio Manager Program, Alex is one of a select group of Advisors who undergo a screening process to manage discretionary client portfolios and are subject to ongoing quantitative and qualitative review to assess each investment strategy. He serves on The GGC Group's investment committee to help identify innovative approaches and make tactical adjustments to existing portfolios. Before joining J.P. Morgan, Alex and his team were with Alex. Brown, a Division of Raymond James. Previously, he was with Deutsche Bank, Morgan Stanley and Merrill Lynch.

Alex earned a B.A. in Finance from the University of Rhode Island. He holds FINRA Series 7, 31 and 66 securities licenses in addition to a life, accident and health insurance designation.

Originally from Pelham, New York, Alex lives in Westport, Connecticut, with his wife and four children. In his free time, he enjoys playing golf and is a devoted runner.
