About Jed

Jed Morton is a Vice President and Wealth Advisor with J.P. Morgan Wealth Management.

As a member of Gilman Private Wealth Management, Jed works in the Investment Management division. He leverages his significant advisory capabilities to direct the investment and wealth planning needs of ultra high-net-worth individuals and corporations. He is central to the development of the Group's asset allocation, fixed income and index strategies, and is highly involved in wealth transition planning. With his experience and understanding, Jed leads Pillar Five, Asset Allocation Modeling as part of the Wealth Foundation Educational Program, advising and adding value to our clients goals and lives.

Jed draws on his deep industry experience to help clients address complex estate planning strategies, matters of familial structure and the intricacies of intergenerational wealth. He is charged with guiding the team's sophisticated clients through the complex requirements of family governance. Jed serves as a member of the Group's Investment Committee, which is responsible for individual security selection and risk management. Additionally, he conducts portfolio reviews with clients and assists with lifestyle and income requirements.

A graduate of Providence College in Rhode Island, Jed holds a B.S. in Business Administration. Additionally, he earned an MBA with a concentration in Finance from the same institution. Soon after graduation, he moved to New York City and joined the Group.

He derives great enjoyment from the close relationships he builds with clients, and is honored to be part of their success. Jed resides in Larchmont, New York, with his wife, Keelan and their children. Together, they have two sons, Sean and Ryan, and a daughter, Charlotte. Avid and lifelong boaters, Jed and his family are active members of the Larchmont Yacht Club.
