About Oliver

Oliver Sun is a Vice President and Wealth Planning Specialist at J.P. Morgan Wealth Management.
Oliver joined the firm in 2023 with his colleagues from First Republic, where he had worked with them for one year. Prior to that, Oliver was a manager at The London Stock Exchange Group, a wealth management analyst at Morgan Stanley, and an investment analyst at Credit Suisse's Alpha and Index Strategies Group where he began his career in 2016, after one summer as an intern.
Oliver is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® (CFP®) professional whose rigorous and ongoing industry training allows him to provide an extra measure of knowledge and experience to clients and their families.
In his role, Oliver addresses the complex and dynamic planning needs of the group's clients. Staying in frequent contact, he ensures that both strategies and tactics keep pace with clients' evolving situations and ambitions. He utilizes the team's comprehensive planning approach to provide for lifestyle, heirs, charitable gifting, retirement, and taxes.
Oliver graduated from Princeton University with a B.A. in Public and International Affairs and a Certificate in Finance. Today, he resides in Manhattan where he actively participates in the Princeton Alumni Network by interviewing prospective students and attending reunion events. Oliver is also passionate about cooking and experimenting with new ingredients in the kitchen.
