About William

William Thacker is a Vice President with J.P. Morgan Wealth Management.

As a member of the O'Callaghan Thomas team, William oversees investment strategy, asset allocation, and portfolio management as well serves as a member of the Investment Committee.

William began his career as a Wealth Manager and Investment Advisor in Atlanta, Georgia. He subsequently joined Bank of America's Private Bank in Atlanta as a Client Portfolio Manager before moving to New York to join Bank of America's Chief Investment Office. Here, William started as an Associate Analyst and Investment Strategist, covering equity investments and strategy for multi-asset portfolios. He progressively increased his experience and responsibility, becoming a Portfolio Manager within the Chief Investment Office on a team overseeing $200B in client assets. He joined the O'Callaghan Thomas Team in August of 2023.

William graduated from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville with a B.A. in Economics and a B.A. in Political Science. He lives in Brooklyn, NY with his wife and their adopted Weimaraner puppy.
