Scott Seltzer is a Managing Director and Wealth Partner with J.P. Morgan Wealth Management. As the founding member of The Seltzer Group, he delivers tailored investment strategies that address the complex and comprehensive financial needs of high-net-worth individuals and their families. In 2020, 2021, and 2022 Scott was recognized as a Forbes Best-In-State Wealth Advisor.
A lifelong student of the markets, Scott has a deep understanding of equity and fixed-income vehicles, with a particular focus on municipal bonds. His significant capabilities extend to address the full complement of clients' holistic needs— tax-efficient strategies, retirement planning, intergenerational wealth transfer and philanthropic giving. With over 20 years of asset management experience, Scott has built a reputation for making informed decisions and maintaining the discipline necessary to navigate the most challenging of markets.
Known for his approachable style, Scott has had the privilege of working with several global financial services firms. This collective experience has provided him with a diverse set of skills and the insights to view investment opportunities from many angles.
Scott joined J.P. Morgan in 2017 to offer his clients the benefit of the value-added services that only a world-renowned and well-respected financial institution can deliver coupled with the personalized attention of a boutique setting. He continues to tailor investment planning strategies that attend to his clients' differentiated wealth management needs.
A native New Yorker, Scott resides in Long Island with his wife, Sammi, and their two young children. Together, they embrace the city's wealth of cultural and artistic activities. In his free time, he enjoys tennis, golf, fitness and travel.
