About Peter
Peter Venetos is a Wealth Advisor with J.P. Morgan Wealth Management. As a member of the Venetos Group, he delivers comprehensive guidance that helps high-net-worth individuals and families to grow, preserve and transfer their wealth.
Peter takes a collaborative approach to support clients through the challenges of today's market environment. He is especially proficient in risk assessment, goals-based investing, strategic planning and client service. Peter taps the award-winning research team1and professional resources at J.P. Morgan to care for a full range of personalized and long-term objectives, including lending, credit, retirement and philanthropy. Introduced to financial concepts at a young age, he believes strongly in educating the next generation about money and the principles of investing.
With 10 years of industry experience, Peter began his career at Bessemer Trust as a Client Account Manager supporting ultra-high-net-worth individuals on all elements of their financial lives. Most recently, he was a Vice President at Partners Group, a Switzerland-based private markets investment management firm, where he focused on investor relations for high-net-worth clients and institutions. He joined J.P. Morgan in 2020 for the opportunity to draw from his global perspective, values and shared point of view to help build-out the Venetos Group into a multi-generational practice.
Carrying on in the family tradition, Peter is a graduate of Cornell University, where he earned a B.A. in Economics with a concentration in Italian. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation, which enhances his understanding of security research and portfolio management. Active in the professional community, Peter is a member of the CFA Society of New York.
Peter has volunteered with Sponsors for Educational Opportunity (SEO), Student Diplomacy Corps, BioBus, The Lenox Hill Neighborhood House and The Jackie Robinson Foundation. He is a former member of the investment committee for Partners Group Impact (Verein), an employee-led foundation.
Originally from Connecticut, Peter lives in New York City with his fiancée, Jay. For fun, he enjoys cooking, art, skiing, playing golf, music and attending concerts.
