About Kevin
Kevin Lynn is a Managing Director and Wealth Partner with J.P. Morgan Wealth Management.
As the founder of The Lynn Group, he leverages his deep institutional knowledge with securitized products and fixed income strategies to serve the complex investment requirements of ultra-high-net-worth individuals.
Kevin and his team provide an institutional level of care that is not commonly found among retail advisors. His major focus in all strategies is to quantify and mitigate risk to help clients achieve their financial goals in a disciplined manner.
He has a reputation for keeping his thumb on the pulse of the market and providing tailored wealth strategies for his clients. These strategies include estate planning, tax minimization, wealth diversification, opportunistic investing and customized lending facilities. The Lynn Group prides itself on practicing a "client-first" approach to every decision making process and in doing so have been able to serve successful individuals and families both domestically and internationally.
With over 18 years of capital markets experience, Kevin was hired directly out of college by J.P. Morgan's Investment Bank, where he gained exposure to the complex world of asset-backed securities. While there, Kevin was involved in everything from loan diligence, structuring and deal underwriting to hedging and secondary trading. In 2005, he was tapped for a small team to facilitate J.P. Morgan's entry into the conduit mortgage business, taking principal risk and structuring it into a securitized form for trading. In 2011, he joined J.P. Morgan Private Bank's Solutions Trading Team where he acted as a senior risk trader for the fixed income trading desk and was tasked with building and heading the securitized products business. Eager to put these skills to use for the benefit of high-networth individuals, he started an advisory practice to provide a prudent and measured approach to risk while offering strategic investment opportunities. By marrying his institutional knowledge with customized wealth planning services, he is able to offer clients a unique and strategic path to achieving their financial goals.
A graduate of New York University Stern School of Business, Kevin holds a B.S. with a concentration in Finance and International Business. He believes that a strong education serves as the cornerstone for success and as such, he volunteers as an ambassador for the Khan Foundation, an organization that empowers low-income students through college access programs, activitybased learning, leadership development opportunities and mentorship.
Kevin and his wife live in Newport Beach, CA, with their three young children. A former Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu competitor, he remains active through tennis and other outdoor activities with his family.
