About Travis

Travis Shirley is a Wealth Advisor with J.P. Morgan Wealth Management and partner in The Shirley Group. He is the third generation of his family to pursue a career in the securities industry, following his grandfather, a cotton broker, and father, Stephen Shirley, who has been a Financial Advisor for the past 45 years. Travis employs a range of strategies, including banking, lending and portfolio construction to meet each client's needs. In today's fast-paced society, professional asset management has never been more valuable. His process utilizes a thoughtful and detailed approach to financial planning, taking into consideration current income, tax considerations and philanthropic goals. J.P. Morgan enables The Shirley Group to execute its designed strategies effectively. As a team, we always strive to bring the highest level of professionalism and integrity.

Travis began his career in financial services in 1998 as an OTC Market Maker at Hambrecht & Quist. He then joined First Albany Capital, where he earned the title of Vice President of Trading as a Senior Market Maker. Later, Travis joined his father at Oppenheimer & Company as a Financial Advisor, and in 2014 joined J.P. Morgan in the same capacity.

Travis is a native Californian, born and raised in Laguna Beach, and attended St. Margaret's Episcopal School in San Juan Capistrano. He made his way to Texas for college, attending Southern Methodist University and graduating in 1998 with a B.A. in Economics. Travis currently lives in Laguna Beach and enjoys paddleboarding, mountain biking and traveling in his free time.
