Ethan Emma is a Managing Director and Wealth Partner at J.P. Morgan Wealth Management.
With over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry, Ethan provides comprehensive investment services to a select group of high-net-worth individuals and their families to guide them along their inter-generational wealth journey. He prides himself on delivering the strategies and services emblematic of one of the most secure and diversified financial institutions in the world.
Many of Ethan's clients are corporate executives who have amassed significant wealth through concentrated positions. He helps them preserve their investments by offering diversified strategies and asset allocation. He draws on his extensive background in attending to the sophisticated and complex requirements of family foundations and trusts.
Ethan takes a multi-generational and highly individualized approach, investing time to understand each client's specific situation and priorities and developing investment strategies driven by their needs. He is passionate about educating younger generations to be good stewards of their family's assets. Ethan leverages the firm's professional investment managers to provide tailored portfolios that align with financial goals and risk tolerances. His aim is for clients to think of him first in any financial matter along the totality of their financial picture, including trust and estate planning, credit, banking and lending.
Ethan began his career in the training program at Shearson Lehman. His early focus was on delivering investment advice to corporate executives at healthcare and biotech companies. He worked at Dillon, Read & Co. before joining a predecessor firm of J.P. Morgan.
Ethan is a graduate of The Browning School in Manhattan. He attended Cornell University, earning a B.S. degree and remains active in his fraternity's professional network.
Married for 30 years, Ethan, his wife and his daughter split their time between New York City and Palm Beach.
