About Andrew
Andrew VanWazer is a Portfolio Specialist serving as the lead expert on Managed Investment Solutions for J.P. Morgan U.S. Wealth Management. In this role, Andrew speaks directly with Portfolio Managers daily to understand the philosophy and current views across strategies. Using those insights, he helps clients establish holistic, investment portfolios that aim to achieve their unique, long-term goals and objectives. Andrew also helps convey J.P. Morgan's market views and range of managed offerings to the J.P. Morgan advisor population. As client preferences evolve, he helps develop new solutions for the Wealth Management platform.
Prior to his current role, Andrew worked as an Investment Specialist in the J.P. Morgan Private Bank in Chicago where he advised ultra-high net worth clients on their long-term investment portfolios. Previously, he held a role as a Banker Analyst where he helped support a $2.6B book of business.
Outside of his day job, Andrew co-founded the Black Analyst Forum, an organization across JPM Asset & Wealth Management designed to help diverse Analysts progress in their careers by connecting them directly with senior thought leaders. He also serves as a Mentor through the J.P. Morgan iMentor Program.
Andrew has FINRA Series 7 and 63 securities licenses and is also a CFA charterholder. He holds a B.A. in Economics from The University of Chicago where he was a subpar student-athlete (baseball). Now that his arm no longer functions properly, Andrew enjoys golf and road-tripping in his free time. Originally from Arlington Heights, IL, Andrew currently resides on the Upper East Side of Manhattan.
