About Gordon

Gordon Sommer is an Executive Director and Wealth Advisor at J.P. Morgan Wealth Management.

Gordon has been a partner of The Donohue Group since 2009. He applies his extensive experience to assist high-net-worth individuals and families with all aspects of portfolio management, including asset allocation, risk management, equity and alternative asset selection, and derivatives.

Before rejoining J.P. Morgan, Gordon worked at Morgan Stanley and RBC Wealth Management. He also served as a Portfolio Manager at Pinnacle Associates and Mission Global Advisors, where he managed long-only and long/short equity portfolios for high-net-worth and institutional clients. With over 30 years of experience, Gordon started his financial career in the Institutional Equities Group at UBS and J.P. Morgan.

Gordon graduated with a B.S.B.A. from the University of Florida and pursued Mechanical Engineering studies at Michigan Technology University. He holds FINRA series 7, 63 and 66 securities licenses.
