About Anthony

Anthony Rizzo is a Managing Director and Wealth Partner with J.P. Morgan Wealth Management.

He manages the financial services needs of high-net-worth individuals, corporate officers, executives in the entertainment industry, and institutions. His entrepreneurial background resonates with self-made business owners, whom he also advises. Anthony manages growth, balanced and ETF portfolios as a member of J.P. Morgan Wealth Management Portfolio Manager Program, a select group of advisors who undergo a screening process to manage discretionary client assets, and are subject to ongoing quantitative and qualitative reviews in order to assess their investment strategies.

Anthony has over 27 years of investment management experience. He is skilled in determining asset class decisions and identifying areas that may either be undervalued or not readily apparent to the research community. He creates an investment thesis and strategy designed to capitalize on them, and synthesizes the portfolio weighting decisions for the team. Using a fixed income–centric approach, Anthony evaluates the entire capital structure, deriving satisfaction from uncovering under-appreciated investments to deliver intrinsic value on a risk-adjusted basis.

Taking an unconventional path to financial services, early in his career Anthony captained a 50-foot sport fishing yacht, traveling extensively and gaining real-world experience. Through this adventure, he met many financial services professionals, one in particular who encouraged him to enter the training program at Kidder Peabody (now UBS) in 1994. He subsequently moved to Legg Mason and Deutsche Bank with his team, prior to joining J.P. Morgan in 2014.

Anthony grew up on Long Island, and now lives in North Palm Beach with his wife and daughter. He spends his free time tournament fishing and boating, and is active in the Boys and Girls Club of Palm Beach County. He and his family are also involved in the Leukemia Lymphoma Society.
