About Kurt
Kurt Sylvia is a Managing Director, Wealth Partner and Portfolio Manager1 with J.P. Morgan Wealth Management.
As a practice leader of The SKS Group at J.P. Morgan Wealth Management, Kurt and his team manage offices in New York, Palm Beach, and Miami. He offers tailored, sophisticated guidance to a diverse range of clients, including founders, athletes, entertainers, entrepreneurs, corporate executives, business owners, families, foundations, and those involved with Defined Benefit (DB) and Defined Contribution (DC) plans.
By collaborating with an elite group of specialists at the firm, Kurt delivers highly customized solutions that address a full spectrum of wealth management needs. He leverages the extensive resources of J.P. Morgan, which go beyond investment management to include services in liability management, trust and estate planning, tax management and philanthropic strategies, alternative investments, intellectual capital, insurance, and mortgages.
Kurt partners with families' CPAs and other professional advisors to ensure that the totality of the financial picture is considered. His mission is to help clients pursue and maintain their preferred future through superior levels of consulting and service.
Kurt is a graduate of Providence College, where he earned a bachelor's degree in Finance. With over 25 years in the financial services industry, he holds FINRA series 6, 7, 31, 52, 63, and 65 securities licenses.
He resides with his wife, Michele, in Jupiter, Florida, New York City, New York, and Nantucket, Massachusetts. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family and participating in outdoor activities.
