About Kurt
Kurt Sylvia is a Managing Director, Wealth Partner, and Portfolio Manager with J.P. Morgan Wealth Management. Kurt is dedicated to serving the specialized needs of a limited number of affluent and institutional investors to ensure the highest level of attention and responsiveness. By working with an elite group of specialists at the firm, Kurt delivers highly customized solutions that address a full spectrum of wealth management needs.
Kurt leverages the wide breadth of J.P. Morgan's industry-leading resources beyond investment management to include client services in liability management, trust and estate planning, tax management and philanthropic strategies, alternative investments, intellectual capital, insurance, and mortgages. By partnering alongside families CPAs and other professional advisors, he works diligently in seeking to ensure the totality of the financial picture is considered. Kurt's mission is to help clients pursue and/or maintain their preferred future through superior levels of consulting and service.
Kurt has over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry. He is considered to be a top national advisor to families of significant means through industry recognitions, including 2 Forbes 1 Barron's and the 3 Financial Times.
Kurt is a graduate of Providence College, where he earned a bachelor's degree in Finance. He holds FINRA series 6, 7, 31, 52, 63 and 65 licenses. He is a member of the Board of Advisors for the Stetson University School of Business. Kurt resides in Jupiter, Florida, with his wife, Michele, and enjoys spending time between South Florida and Nantucket with his family.
