Patrick Harrington is an Executive Director and Life Insurance Specialist at J.P. Morgan Wealth Management.
Patrick is a trusted planning resource dedicated to helping clients protect and pursue their lifestyle, legacy and wealth transfer goals. He takes a holistic wealth management approach to deliver seasoned insights on insurance, estate and financial planning. Working in collaboration with the firm's Advisors, Patrick crafts tailored insurance strategies while working seamlessly with clients' attorneys and accountants as well as with general agency partners to coordinate all aspects of the underwriting and policy issuance process.
As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional with 15 years of industry experience, Patrick's skillset spans life insurance, long-term care, foundational estate tax planning, private placement, business ownership, premium finance and financial planning. His deep knowledge base allows him to offer sophisticated, personalized approaches to address each client's needs and aspirations.
Before joining J.P. Morgan in 2024, Patrick was the Head of Insurance Distribution at UBS, where he actively consulted to the firm's Advisors and clients. Earlier in his career, he garnered significant experience at Citi-PWM and Prudential, working directly with Advisors and clients to design and implement complex insurance strategies.
Patrick graduated from the Smeal College of Business at Penn State University. He holds the FINRA Series 7, 24 and 66 securities licenses as well as the Life, Accident and Health, and Property and Casualty Insurance licenses.
Patrick resides on Long Island with his wife, Giulia, and two children, Paul and Viviana. The family enjoys an active lifestyle, making their own wine, and spending time away in Ocean City, NJ, and southern Italy.
