About Patrick

Patrick Raftery is an Executive Director and Life Insurance Specialist at J.P. Morgan Wealth Management.

Patrick partners with individuals, families and advisors to design and implement insurance strategies. He focuses on helping clients preserve assets, create retirement liquidity and build legacies intended to support long-term well-being. His experience spans life, disability income and long-term care planning as well as advanced estate and business owner strategies.

Patrick joined J.P. Morgan in 2025. He began his career in the property and casualty insurance industry, where he gained firsthand experience helping families, corporations and business owners manage risk. He later built a successful financial planning practice at Northwestern Mutual, advising affluent families and closely held business owners on integrated protection and wealth planning. In these roles, he coordinated closely with clients' accountants, attorneys and professional advisors to develop thoughtful, individualized approaches.

Patrick graduated from the University of Kansas with a B.A. in Sociology and a B.S. in Criminal Justice. He holds the FINRA Series 6 and 63 securities licenses. Patrick continues to pursue advanced planning education to broaden his knowledge base.

Patrick lives in Hawthorn Woods, Illinois, with his wife, Nikki, and their three children: Mia, Stella and Ryan. He enjoys running, skiing, family travel and cheering on KU. Rock Chalk, Jayhawk!
