Cary Ann Murphy is a Vice President and Relationship Manager at J.P. Morgan Wealth Management.
Cary Ann leads The Hafner Group's client service operations, overseeing all aspects of relationship management. She is responsible for addressing client queries, developing and implementing strategies to enhance the client experience, maintaining and strengthening relationships with existing clients, and striving to ensure a smooth onboarding process for new clients. Cary Ann proactively considers client needs, coordinates with internal teams to provide a coordinated response, and serves as a dedicated resource for client concerns. Her excellent communication skills and commitment to service keep her in frequent touch with clients, helping ensure they receive prompt and professional support.
Cary Ann brings more than 25 years of industry experience to her role. She began her career in 1997 at A.G. Edwards, where she developed a strong foundation in client service and financial operations. During her time at William Blair, Cary Ann expanded her skillset to include managing client onboarding, addressing complex inquiries and overseeing cash management needs. Since joining the Hafner team in 2015, she has further honed her relationship-management approach, striving to deliver an exceptional client experience through diligence, attention to detail and a genuine commitment to client success. Cary Ann holds the FINRA Series 7 and 66 licenses.
Originally from Chicago, Cary Ann now resides in West Chester, Pennsylvania, with her husband, Sean, and their sons, Anthony and Connor. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, reading and spending quality moments with family and friends.
In 2025, Cary Ann was honored with the J.P. Morgan Advisors Chairman's Award in recognition of her outstanding contributions and commitment to client service.
