About Emily

Emily Story is a Senior Client Service Associate at J.P. Morgan Wealth Management.

Emily is a key point of client contact for The Leaverton Strahan Team, helping multiple generations of client families streamline their financial affairs. Organized by nature, she is thorough in her work, addressing a range of client inquiries with warmth and attentiveness. Emily looks to bring "lightness" to clients, whether relieving them of concerns or taking a genuine interest in their well-being. Clients, in turn, look to Emily as a reliable resource who quickly understands their needs and follows through on their requests with timeliness and positivity.

Within the team, Emily holds a number of responsibilities, including new account onboarding, money transfers, account administration, customized reporting, team operations and special projects. She is proud to be part of a close-knit team that takes pride in serving "really great clients," building lasting relationships that deepen over time.

Emily draws on significant experience in wealth management. Prior to joining J.P. Morgan Wealth Management with her team in 2023, she was a Registered Client Service Associate with First Republic Bank. Emily served in a parallel capacity with D.A. Davidson from 2021 through 2022. She began her financial services career in 2017 with Stifel Financial, where she was a Client Service Associate.

Emily earned her B.S. in Public Relations with a minor in Business Administration from the University of Oregon. She holds FINRA Series 7 and 66 securities licenses.

Outside the office, Emily loves to spend time with her wife, Gabi, and their dogs, Chip and Rue, and cat, Louie. She also enjoys traveling and playing pickleball.
