About Ngai
Ngai Pham is a Senior Client Associate at J.P. Morgan Wealth Management.
Ngai plays an integral role with The ARA Group, offering management and problem-solving support to the team's Wealth Advisors by caring for clients and their operational needs, which he views as his number one priority. As a first point of contact with clients, he builds deep relationships by getting to know each individual, understanding their needs and making it a point to connect with them frequently. Ngai manages the onboarding process, addresses inquiries, executes trades, processes wires, conducts funds transfers and coordinates other recurring tasks. He is proud that clients observe the respect team members have for one another, a trust that extends to their situation.
Ngai is known for his persistence in finding a path to resolving client issues by exploring different scenarios and striving to find the best possible answer to their questions. He is good at following up and keeping individuals apprised of things that arise, whether simple or complex. Viewing communication as the centerpiece of his role, Ngai helps to ensure clients are aware of things that can affect their wealth and investment plans. He is known as a logical thinker who is adept at quantitative analysis.
In a nearly two-decade career, Ngai began working in financial services at Charles Schwab & Co. in the estate planning department. He accelerated his role to become an Estate Planning Specialist, which formed the basis for and defined the part he plays in his current capacity. Ngai joined the team at Merrill Lynch Wealth Management, where he served on the Advisory Council to Management. He credits being Chairman of the Client Associate Council as a primary factor in developing his leadership capabilities. He moved with the team to First Republic Private Wealth Management and transitioned with them to J.P. Morgan in 2023.
A graduate of the University of California Davis, Ngai earned a B.A. in Economics.
Ngai and his wife and son live in San Diego, and his family is his first priority. In his free time, he enjoys traveling to expose his son to different cultures. He is actively involved with his son's school and volunteers with other philanthropic pursuits when the opportunity arises.
