About Kevin
Kevin Douglas is a Managing Director and Wealth Partner at J.P. Morgan Wealth Management.
Kevin draws from more than 30 years of private wealth management experience to advise a range of highly successful clients. He believes that going the extra mile for them is never going out of his way. Kevin has helped clients explore the sale of a business, consolidate multiple retirement plans, address the needs of different family members, and satisfy the retirement goals of their employees. He has also celebrated their weddings and anniversaries and sat with their families during stressful times.
One of Kevin's key offerings is his rich repository of knowledge and best practices. He shares—in a discreet manner—the financial strategies that similarly situated clients have found effective. This not only leads to proven ideas for meeting an array of challenges, but also to ongoing education that encourages clients to learn from others.
Kevin joined J.P. Morgan from First Republic, where he was a wealth manager for eleven years. He launched his financial career in 1991 at Merrill Lynch and Bank of America. A native of Canada, Kevin studied political science and philosophy at Simon Fraser University in British Columbia. He holds the Chartered Retirement Planning CounselorSM (CRPC®) designation.
Kevin, his wife, Nicole (a family therapist), and their two children live in Sonoma County. He loves the great outdoors—fishing, kayaking, snowmobiling, snowboarding and dirt bike riding near his family's cabin in Bear Valley. Kevin is a former board member of di Rosa Center for Contemporary Art, a non-profit organization in Napa, California.
