About Andrew

Andrew Gibson is a Managing Director and Wealth Partner at J.P. Morgan Wealth Management.

Andrew brings more than 15 years of investment knowledge and skills to clients. Before joining the firm with his colleagues in 2023, he spent 11 years at First Republic Wealth Management, rising to be the Head of Equity Trading. Prior to First Republic, Andrew held institutional trading roles at Stifel Financial and Thomas Weisel Partners.

Today, Andrew advises wealthy families and individuals on investment strategy, asset allocation and overall portfolio management. Proud to be an "ears open, sleeves rolled up" professional, he is devoted to knowing clients exceedingly well, gaining their respect and being a trusted advisor. For Andrew, being a relevant part of a client's financial life means appreciating their life's work, their business interests, and helping to ensure their overall well-being—financially and emotionally.

Andrew holds a B.S. in International Business from San Francisco State University and an M.B.A. from the F.W. Olin School of Business at Babson College in Massachusetts. After earning his Bachelor's, and a welltimed trading floor tour, Andrew fell in love with the energy and excitement of trading. Later in his career, he decided to serve clients directly and "own his own success." In 2019, he joined Catherine Evans and formed the group. An avid sailor, Andrew and his wife are proud parents of three children.
