About Brian
Brian Brocious is an Executive Director, Wealth Partner and Portfolio Manager1 at J.P. Morgan Wealth Management.
A partner in the OCB Group, Brian provides customized and comprehensive wealth planning and investment advice to a select group of high-net-worth individuals and families. He has a specialty focus on tax-aware lending and investment strategies designed to more effectively compound wealth over time while reducing risk through diversification. Brian also serves on the OCB Group's Investment Committee, helping shape the team's market view and build customized portfolios for clients. In addition to his investment-related responsibilities, Brian acts as a banking, credit, lending and mortgage specialist for the team.
Brian graduated from the University of Pennsylvania, with a B.A. in Economics and a minor in History. He began his nearly 20-year career in financial services in 2006 at Hueter & Associates, a boutique financial consulting firm. He transitioned to J.P. Morgan in his current capacity in 2011. Initially an engineering major in college, Brian has an educational background that provides specific perspective and insight for his clients, many of whom are technology entrepreneurs and software engineers. His foundation in finance, along with his straightforward and disciplined approach to working with clients, provided a natural progression into his current role. He holds FINRA Series 7 and 66 securities licenses, and holds the Accredited Investment Fiduciary® designation.
A San Francisco Bay Area native, Brian grew up in Danville and currently lives in Lafayette with his wife and two children. In his spare time, he enjoys reading, traveling, scuba diving, and spending time with family and friends. As a former world champion professional video game player, Brian still enjoys casual gaming.
