About Lene

Lene Thompson is a Client Associate at J.P. Morgan Wealth Management.

Before joining the firm with her colleagues in 2023, Lene worked with them at First Republic in a similar support role for two years. In 2017, she began working with the team at Abbot Downing, a boutique wealth management arm of Wells Fargo, where she gained experience serving ultra-high-net-worth clients as a Client Service Consultant. In 2012, Lene launched her career at Wells Fargo in Arizona.

As the responsive point of contact for clients, Lene serves as their liaison with the team and specialists throughout the firm. She also handles transactions, account administration, wire transfers, and helps onboard new clients—introducing them to the firm's time-saving technology.

Recognizing clients' voices when they call and their last conversation, Lene takes pride in the close relationships she cultivates with clients. She finds conversations with clients to be inspiring and educational—hearing about their successes and struggles. Each day, Lene works hard to deliver the outstanding experience that's emblematic of the team's family office-style service model.

Lene lives south of San Francisco with her better half, a police officer in Daly City. In addition to her role as an "adoring aunt" of her sister's baby boy, Lene enjoys hiking, spending time with family, and trying out new recipes.
