About Douglas
Douglas Feliciano is a Managing Director and Wealth Partner at J.P. Morgan Wealth Management.
As a co-founder of The Alta Group, Douglas provides tailored strategies and wealth-management advice to high-net-worth individuals, families and their businesses, helping them discern what they want to accomplish with their wealth and delineating a thoughtful pathway to those priorities. With investment experience dating from 2000, he offers a seasoned perspective on the capital markets, sharing the knowledge he has gained to help clients navigate diverse investment conditions with poise and confidence.
Clients from varied paths engage Douglas's advice. Many are wealth creators who have competing demands for their time and attention. Others are people nearing retirement or already enjoying that milestone, who appreciate the direction and coordination Douglas can provide. And still others are business owners in need of retirement planning for themselves and their employees. To each of these relationships, Douglas is gratified to educate people about their options, enhancing their long-term financial security. Mutual trust is the foundation of his approach: "I look to be a steadfast presence in clients' lives," he notes, "looking out for their well-being and grounding my work in integrity."
Prior to joining J.P. Morgan Wealth Management in 2023, Douglas was a Managing Director and Wealth Manager at First Republic Private Wealth Management, which he joined in 2012. Earlier, he spent more than four years as Vice President and Portfolio Manager at Mechanics Bank. Douglas began his investment career in 2000 with Northern Trust, where he served as Second Vice President and Portfolio Manager, designing asset allocation strategies and managing client portfolios for high-net-worth individuals and nonprofit clients. A graduate of Northern Arizona University, he earned his B.S. with a concentration in Finance. Eager to bring clients forward-looking advice, he is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional—considered the pinnacle attainment within financial planning.
Douglas is a member of the Financial Planning Association of San Francisco. He is also active with The Guardsmen, a men's nonprofit organization in San Francisco that raises money to send disadvantaged Bay Area children to school and summer camp.
Douglas and his wife, Vanessa, have two children. In his free time, he enjoys cycling, horseback riding and traveling.
