About Jimmy

Jimmy Szeto is an Investment Associate at J.P. Morgan Wealth Management.

Jimmy builds enduring relationships with an accomplished clientele, helping them discern a more efficient path to their ambitions and goals. Clients look to him for his extensive knowledge of financial planning, tax-sensitive investing, cashflow modeling and retirement planning. Jimmy, in turn, is gratified to provide clients with an unbiased perspective, helping them evaluate their options and take purposeful action toward the future they envision.

Within the team, Jimmy often serves as a first point of client contact. His longevity and continuity with his group have made him intimately familiar with the circumstances of each relationship, deepening his appreciation for each person or family. He offers a genuine enthusiasm for his role, eager to help clients capitalize on the opportunities that can make their wealth function more cohesively. Jimmy notes that his team's relationships tend to be active partnerships characterized by ongoing discussions. Clients' financial plans are regularly revisited, he explains, so that he and his colleagues can stay closely apprised of evolving interests and needs.

Jimmy moved to J.P. Morgan Wealth Management with his team in 2023. Earlier, he spent nine years at First Republic Private Wealth Management, where he was a Senior Associate. He has worked in wealth management and banking since 2010, steadily taking on additional responsibilities.

A graduate of San Francisco State University, Jimmy earned his B.A. in Economics, with a minor in Business Administration. Committed to bringing clients a refined level of strategy and advice, he holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation.

Born and raised in San Francisco, Jimmy now lives in Daly City with his wife, Sirena, and their daughter, Zari. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time and traveling with his family and friends, and attending sporting events for his favorite teams, the Golden State Warriors and San Francisco 49ers.
