About Catherine
Catherine Evans is a Managing Director and Wealth Partner at J.P. Morgan Wealth Management.
Catherine joined the firm in 2023 after more than 20 years spent at First Republic. There, she founded the Wealth Advisor role in 2005 and was instrumental in the creation of the Private Wealth Management division. Catherine began her career as a management consultant with Oliver Wyman (formerly Mercer Management Consulting) in San Francisco.
For decades, Catherine's financial stewardship and knowledge have attracted an elite clientele. Summoning her people-and-analytical skills, she specializes in working with ambitious professionals who share her entrepreneurial spirit. Catherine's strong competency in pre-and post-liquidity strategies proves especially valuable to clients, as does her ability to orchestrate the efforts of her colleagues and clients' CPAs and attorneys.
Catherine has an intuitive sense for people and their priorities. A skilled communicator, she is passionate about listening to what clients say (and may not say), bringing them her emotional intelligence and sensitivity. Relationship focused and data-driven, Catherine enjoys helping clients pursue objectives that they had not shared previously with loved ones or good friends.
A lifetime learner, Catherine holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® (CFP®) designation as well as a B.A. in International Relations from Stanford University and an M.B.A. from The Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley.
Born and raised in Northern California, Catherine is married with two children (and one dog). A former PTA president, she enjoys hiking, reading, and especially family time.
CFP Board owns the marks CFP® and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® in the U.S.
