About Christopher

Christopher T. Ornelas is an Investment Associate at J.P. Morgan Wealth Management.

As a member of The Meyers Group, Christopher provides implementation and reporting support for the high-net-worth individuals they serve. Christopher's responsibilities include developing wealth plans and reviewing investment portfolios. He works diligently to deliver an excellent client experience.

A CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional and Chartered Retirement Planning CounselorSM designee, Christopher brings 20 years of financial services experience to his role. He joined J.P. Morgan in 2018 through First Republic Securities Company, LLC, a predecessor firm. He was previously at Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith Inc., where he began his career in 2006. Christopher earned a B.A. in Economics from San Francisco State University.

Christopher lives in the East Bay with his wife, Tarah, and their three children, Gabriella, CJ and Madden. He has been active in youth sports for more than a decade, coaching baseball and softball and serving on the board of Pinole Hercules Little League. He loves to play cards and board games with friends and family, and has a passion for music, having marched with the Santa Clara Vanguard and attended Stanford Jazz workshops.
