About Jory
Jory Sandusky is a Wealth Advisor at J.P. Morgan Wealth Management.
Jory delivers comprehensive wealth management services to individuals and families, serving as their trusted advisor. He understands that wealth is more than money and believes it's imperative to address both human and fiscal needs across their financial lives to transform their success into meaningful legacies. By implementing goals-based planning, custom portfolio design, trust and estate planning, family dynamics coaching, banking and credit solutions and more, he weaves an outsourced family office-style approach.
Jory's focus is on helping business owners, tech leaders, entrepreneurs and members of the LGBTQ+ community align their values with their vision for the future. He fosters financial literacy to increase trust and communication between multiple generations of a family.
Jory began his professional journey in commercial aviation, overseeing onboard operations in Chicago, London, San Francisco and Los Angeles. In the wake of the Great Recession, he felt called to help bring calm and holistic care to the financial services industry after watching as his parents were ignored by their advisor during that stressful economic chapter. Thus, Jory joined Morgan Stanley in 2010, where he was able to put his Finance degree to better use.
Later recruited to U.S. Bank's multi-family office, Ascent, in 2015, Jory led the California operation, serving centimillionaire and billionaire client families. He moved to J.P. Morgan in 2023 for the opportunity to bring his family office perspectives and tools to clients at varied wealth levels who could benefit from his differentiated background.
A graduate of California State University Long Beach, Jory earned a B.S. in Finance, Real Estate and Law. He also holds the Certified Private Wealth Advisor® (CPWA®) designation from the Investments and Wealth Institute after studying at the Yale School of Management. Additionally, he holds the designation of an Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®) and FINRA Series 7 and 66 securities licenses.
Jory grew up in the Bay Area, and he and his husband live in San Francisco, not far from family. In his free time, he enjoys yoga, being outdoors, attending local theatre, the San Francisco Symphony and exploring the wine country. Jory also supports efforts in LGBTQ+ entrepreneurship.
