About Kristen
Kristen Hirano is an Investment Associate at J.P. Morgan Wealth Management.
As an integral part of The ARA Group, Kristen concentrates on the day-to-day activities to identify new areas of opportunity and ways to improve the group's efficiency. Her role also encompasses managing important client-related operational functions such as handling wires, opening accounts, moving money and executing trades.
As a first point of client contact, Kristen builds rapport by forging personal bonds with individual family members. She makes it a point to learn and remember the fine details of each relationship that make them feel special, and she finds it rewarding to watch families succeed. Known for her ability to complete tasks in a fast-paced environment, Kristen inspires confidence in her team members that she will accomplish whatever needs to be done.
Kristen began her career as a Financial Solutions Advisor at Bank of America, then made the decision to become a Registered Wealth Management Client Associate at Merrill Lynch Wealth Management, where she joined the ARA Group. She moved with the team to First Republic Private Wealth Management before transitioning to her current role at J.P. Morgan. She holds the Chartered Retirement Planning CounselorSM(CRPC®) designation.
Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, Kristen studied at San Francisco State University. She and her husband have a young child, and she devotes her spare time to her family. She also enjoys cooking and baking and likes to watch baseball, football and boxing. Kristen takes advantage of the opportunity to hike in California's varied locales and likes to travel to exciting destinations to expand her perspective.
Kristen is passionate about finding a cure for multiple sclerosis, which her mother has lived with for years, and devotes her time and resources to this personal mission.
