Ken Vercellino is a Wealth Advisor with J.P. Morgan Wealth Management. As a co-founder of The HFV Group, he works closely with venture capital funds and private equity firms to provide liquidity strategies, in-kind distributions, block trading and wealth management services.
Ken has focused the entirety of his financial career on the comprehensive and integrated execution of venture services. His deep understanding of the marketplace environment affords clients an institutional-level of care that is not commonly available to the general and limited partners within the venture capital and private equity community. Ken's well-diversified capability set includes management oversight, business development and strategic leadership. Prior to joining J.P. Morgan in 2010, Ken was a Vice President at Thomas Weisel Partners, serving as a key member of the Venture Services Team. There, he was instrumental in managing the firm's corporate repurchase desk and venture capital fund relationships. With more than 15 years of marketplace experience, Ken's first role was as an Institutional Options Trader for J.P. Morgan H&Q Principals.
A graduate of San Diego State University, Ken earned a B.A in Sociology with a minor in English. He holds the series 7, 63 and 65 licenses, and is a Series 4 Registered Options Principal. A student of the markets, he has taken classes on technical analysis from Golden Gate University.
Ken lives in San Francisco with his wife and three children. In his down time, he likes to play golf, read, travel and cook.
