About Jeff

Jeff Schottenstein is a Managing Director and Wealth Partner at J.P. Morgan Wealth Management.

As a co-founder of the Schottenstein & Wechsler Group, Jeff focuses on developing tailored asset allocations and implementations that reflect his clients' priorities and risk tolerance. He is experienced with hedging and diversification strategies for concentrated and restricted equity positions, in addition to multi-generational trust and estate strategies.

Jeff has served as a Financial Advisor for more than two decades, working closely with families and institutional investors to advance their wealth management goals. He joined J.P. Morgan Wealth Management in 2023. Previously, he was a Senior Managing Director and Wealth Manager at First Republic Private Wealth Management, which he joined in 2018. His career also includes 15 years as a Managing Director of Merrill Lynch's Private Banking and Investment Group. He began his career in 1995 with Montgomery Securities in San Francisco, and later became a Principal with Thomas Weisel Partners.

Jeff earned his B.A. from the University of Wisconsin – Madison and his M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

Dedicated to the fight against cancer, Jeff received the Ellis Island Medal of Honor as a result of his work as a passionate advocate for cancer research and cancer patients. He has served on the Board of Directors of the Gastric Cancer Foundation, the Dana Farber Presidential Visiting Committee for Gastrointestinal Oncology and the Stanford Cancer Council.
