About Robin
Robin Kopeikin is an Executive Director and Wealth Advisor at J.P. Morgan Wealth Management.
As a co-founder of the Alta Group, Robin works closely with high-net-worth individuals and multiple generations of client families, helping them grow, preserve and transfer their wealth more effectively. Active in wealth management since 1984, she offers extensive knowledge of the capital markets combined with a deep affinity for clients and their families, helping them gain greater ease and confidence in the direction of their financial affairs.
Fascinated by the investment markets, Robin brings a perspective honed over multiple market cycles. She enjoys sharing her knowledge of portfolio design with clients, helping them craft a strategy to pursue their distinctive goals, mindful of their risk tolerance, time horizon, tax circumstances and wealth-transfer intentions. While her background has been focused on portfolio management and fundamental securities research, Robin has pursued additional study in the fields of technical analysis and behavioral finance. She is honored to serve as a trusted advisor to clients and their families, demonstrating her genuine regard for their well-being.
Robin joined J.P. Morgan Wealth Management in 2023, moving with her team. Previously, she was a Managing Director and Wealth Manager at First Republic Investment Management, which she joined in 2002. Earlier in her career, Robin was a Senior Vice President at Starbuck, Tisdale & Associates, a former subsidiary of First Republic Bank. Her experience also includes a tenure as Vice President of Santa Barbara Capital Management. Robin earned her B.A. in Business Economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara. She holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the CFA Society of Los Angeles.
Serving in various leadership positions in her community, Robin is a former Trustee of Crane Country Day School and a former Director of the Santa Barbara Zoo and the Santa Barbara Breast Cancer Institute.
Robin and her husband, Brian, have two daughters and enjoy travel, hiking, and live music and comedy.
