About Patrick
Patrick Reed is a Vice President and Wealth Advisor at J.P. Morgan Wealth Management.
Patrick works closely with the Alta Group's high-networth clients, helping them align multiple aspects of their finances so they can enjoy more time for their professional and personal commitments. He holds a number of responsibilities within the team, including portfolio management, trading, investment structuring, research, financial planning and client relationship management. Active in wealth management since 2015, he offers the knowledge and insight he has gained from advising an accomplished clientele, walking with them through significant decision points in their lives and wealth.
Clients appreciate the depth of Patrick's engagement with their financial affairs. Collaborative by nature, he looks to provide greater clarity over the scope of each person's wealth, synthesizing both quantitative and qualitative variables. Patrick is adept in resolving the intricacies that clients encounter, whether delineating a path to retirement, diversifying a concentrated position, preparing a business for sale, transferring wealth to the next generation, designing a reliable cash flow or any other financial goal. Patrick notes that he enjoys regularly interacting with clients, learning more about their stories, and building genuine relationships that deepen over time.
Prior to moving to J.P. Morgan Wealth Management with his team in 2023, Patrick was a Client Relationship Analyst at First Republic Private Wealth Management, which he joined in 2018. His career also includes three years with The TDC Companies, an independent RIA, where his roles included Wealth Adviser. While at TDC, Patrick focused on client relationships for high-net-worth and ultra-high-networth individuals, families and business owners.
A graduate of Franciscan University of Steubenville, Patrick earned his B.S. in Finance. He has completed the Aly Sterling Philanthropy Nonprofit Board Certification and also holds the accelerated Personal Financial Planning Certification through UCLA.
Within his community, Patrick serves on the Finance Committee for the Santa Barbara Zoo and volunteers with local organizations in Camarillo. Patrick and his wife have three young children. He enjoys spending time outdoors with his family, enjoying the beauty of Southern California.
