About Marcus

Marcus Swaim is a Senior Client Associate with J.P. Morgan Wealth Management. His primary role is to provide sales support to David Catalfimo and his team. He is the general gatekeeper of the Santa Barbara office, and is responsible for trading, back-office and administrative support.

Marcus has always been fascinated by the financial markets. He especially enjoys working with the firm's trading desks and various transaction platforms, trying to ensure the best trade executions possible. He prides himself on providing clients full service in a timely and thorough manner.

Marcus began his financial services career in 1998 at Ameritrade in Omaha, Nebraska, where he worked on the equity and fixed income trading desks. He joined J.P. Morgan's predecessor firm Bear Stearns Private Client Services in 2004.

Marcus received a degree in Business Administration, with a focus in Finance, from the University of Nebraska—Lincoln. He holds Series 7 and 63 licenses. Originally from Littleton, Colorado, he and his wife now live in Santa Barbara with their two sons. In his free time, Marcus enjoys golf, coaching t-ball and spending time with his family.
