Solomon Oyetayo is a Vice President and Lending Specialist at J.P. Morgan Wealth Management, covering the West Coast region.
Solomon plays a pivotal role in the structuring, origination and management of securities-based credit facilities, partnering with Advisors to develop innovative lending strategies for their clients. He brings a wealth of experience in high-value financial transactions to the table and is committed to excellence and dedicated to client satisfaction.
Before joining J.P. Morgan in 2023, Solomon spent a decade at First Republic Bank in various roles, including Residential Loan Coordinator, Securities Loan Analyst and Securities-Based Loan Account Manager. He was a founding member of the Securities Lending Team there, playing a key role in building the program and contributing to its success and growth over the years. His experience in underwriting and origination was instrumental in facilitating more than 1,000 securities-based credit facilities representing ~$2.5B in commitments and ~$5B in AUM, demonstrating his proficiency in navigating complex lending financial landscapes.
Solomon is a proud graduate of the University of California, Davis, where he earned a B.A. in Economics. He has pursued advanced studies in Financial Planning at the University of California, Berkeley Extension. He leads an enriching life in Walnut Creek with his loved ones and enjoys comedy, biking and live music.
