About Tammy
Tammy Calabrese is an Executive Director covering Southeast Texas and much of the Gulf Coast Region for J.P. Morgan Wealth Management's Wealth Planning and Advice team.
As a former practicing trusts and estates attorney, Tammy works directly with the firm's clients and their tax and legal advisors to provide experienced guidance in wealth, estate and tax planning.1 As a member of this team, comprised exclusively of former practicing attorneys and other planning professionals, Tammy serves as a subject matter resource for J.P. Morgan advisors and their clients on estate and tax planning strategies, business succession planning, pre- and post- transactional planning, restricted and control stock and stock option management, retirement planning, philanthropic planning and other estate, gift and income tax planning strategies.
Prior to joining J.P. Morgan, Tammy was the Director of Wealth Strategies for Wilmington Trust’s Family Office & Advisory group, where she served as the lead wealth strategist advising Wilmington Trust’s wealth advisors and their high- and ultra-high-net-worth clients across the Virginia, Washington, DC and Baltimore markets. Tammy spent most of her legal career in private practice. She was a partner in the Private Client & Fiduciary Services group of Williams Mullen, and earlier in her career, a partner in the Tax & Employee Benefits group of McGuireWoods, LLP. Tammy has over 20 years of experience as a trusts and estates lawyer concentrating on all aspects of trust and estate planning and administration, including trust taxation, fiduciary representation, and trust and fiduciary litigation.
Tammy earned a B.S. in Accounting from West Virginia University, a J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, and an M.L.T. from the Marshall Wythe School of Law at the College of William & Mary
