About Braxton

Braxton Ransaw is an Investment Associate at J.P. Morgan Wealth Management.
As a member of The Lopes Group, Braxton provides attentive support and relationship management for the team's valuable mix of high-net-worth individuals, families and closely held business owners. He has worked closely with Michael Lopes for many years and plays an important role in supporting all matters related to liquidity planning, exit strategies, investment research/management, wealth planning, and other essential services. Braxton's focus is on delivering seamless integration across the breadth of each client's complex financial scenario. To that end, his approach emphasizes proactive coordination and collaboration with a client's tax and legal advisors.
Braxton grew up in a military family and has a talent for meeting new people and easily connecting on common ground. He was a collegiate athlete and remains a team player to his core, bringing a first-hand perspective on the value of partnership in pursuing positive outcomes.
A graduate of Johns Hopkins University, Braxton earned a B.A. in Economics while playing four seasons of NCAA D-III football. He began his career at Alliance Bernstein as a Private Wealth Associate before moving with his team to J.P. Morgan.
Braxton is active in his community and volunteers at the YMCA as a children's boxing coach, passing along the skillset he has honed since he was a young man. He lives in Arlington, VA and in his free time, enjoys participating in outdoor sports with his friends.
