About Geoffrey

Geoffrey Knotwell is a Client Associate at J.P. Morgan Wealth Management.

Prior to joining the firm in 2023, Geoff held client associate roles at First Republic and Merrill Lynch. Before that, he was a Branch Operations Assistant with Janney Montgomery Scott, LLC.

Managing both operations and client contact, Geoff feels fortunate that each day brings new challenges, from assisting with financial planning and portfolio management, to handling trade executions, providing administrative support, and examining ways to create efficiencies for clients.

Geoff credits his experience coaching baseball in high school and college – and later, as a ski coach – with his desire to help others achieve objectives and grow in the process. In fact, it was Geoff's relationship years ago with a fellow coach (a full-time financial advisor) that opened his eyes to a career in which he could help people achieve financial goals.

Geoff has dedicated himself to being accessible and respectful of clients' time. He recognizes that their schedules change quickly and that their travel plans often require his flexibility.

Still an avid skier and outdoors person, Geoff can be found at Mount Snow or the slopes of Vermont. He also enjoys playing golf and fishing near his home in Medford, Massachusetts. He holds a Bachelor's degree from Fairfield University.
